Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees of the Development and Peace Initiative Kaduna had her first meeting for the year June, 2017. Among other things they resolved included; approval of DPI Budget proposal for 2017, DPI management to improve on the Risk factor of Micro Credit Scheme and ensure it is comprehensive.
End of CAFOD/CCFN Project 
CCFN/CAFOD project signed with DPI (JDPC) at the last quarter of 2016 came to an end in March, 2017. The Project titled; ‘Increasing Popular Participation on Governance’ was targeted at 6 local communities in three LGAs namely; Kaduna South, Chikun and Kaduna North. The communities selected were; Barnawa and Kakuri, Narayi and Sabon Tasha while in Kaduna North we hadDoka and Gabasawa. A total of 30 participants were trained on Advocacy and Lobbying technics; relevance of a manual to the staff of which can be likened to the role a constitution plays to any organisation.
